30 January 2007 site search is finally available! |
31 December 2006 The administration page for the Google nonprofit search is still unavailable. Since Google took that offline during the weekend this redesign was launched back in September, and it has remained offline since, one of our first tasks in 2007 will be to replace the site search with a different routine. Other updates planned for early 2007 are to make the rest of the 2006 Conference program available, post the 2004 Conference photo contest results, add the 2006 IWC report, and create some additional wallpaper selections for the members-only section. Cetaean fact sheet updates are in process and we're also hoping those will be available in the first quarter of 2007. |
30 October 2006 November 2006 Conference Updates: We've updated the info on various pages, including the program. Of particular note is the fact that we're very excited to welcome World famous National Geographic underwater photographer Flip Nicklin as our keynote speaker at the Saturday night banquet ! Whooya ! ... rest of this entry removed when the 2006 Conference pages were moved to a retrospective section... 28 October 2006 11:30 am PDT Action Alert ! -- the whales need a little bit of your time before October 30th - there is a very short public comment period on the Navy's new attempt to use Low Frequency Active Sonar -- please see the Action Alert ! page for details

The word from Google is that this will be available again as soon as they get the problem fixed. 3 September 2006 3:30 am PDT Welcome to the newly redesigned American Cetacean Society web site.
